Taste The History Of Chocolate At 18th Century Rippon Lodge Thursday April 26, 2012

Rippon Lodge Woodbridge VA

Chocolate has been part of the human scene for 2,000 years. Most of that time it was enjoyed as an unsweetened beverage..That means it was enjoyed in 1747 when Rippon Lodge was built.

Visitors to this special event can enjoy sampling chocolate and learn of its' history with local chocolatier Ben Rassmussen of Potomac Chocolate.

This looks like a perfect time to see the home and have a lesson on chocolate at the same time.

I have enjoyed chocolate demonstrations at Mount Vernon.
